Houston, TX – Rape and Domestic Violence prevention tool, KATIA (https://www.toddandclare.com/katia), which enables women dating online to pre-screen men’s faces against national crime databases, has won the support of Professor Noam Chomsky.

Writing from MIT, Professor Chomsky has said the work of KATIA and its Notre Dame mathematician developer, Scott Drotar, is “very worthwhile.” Mr Drotar began a petition to Congress 2 months ago to ask for government to do more to protect women online: https://www.change.org/p/u-s-house-of-representatives-require-sex-offenders-to-report-their-social-networking-accounts

Noam Chomsky’s endorsement of KATIA, coincides with one of the rape prevention tool’s financial sponsors, Todd Hammond, CEO of Todd and Clare Dating, publicly accusing large online dating sites of using Washington lobbyists and hush money to stop American women from learning about KATIA’s availability: https://www.toddandclare.com/datinglife/online-dating/big-dating-silencing-katia-project/

“By stopping women, who represent the most at risk category from rapists using dating sites, from finding out about a rape prevention tool, the big dating sites have now escalated this into a freedom of the press issue,” Mr Hammond said.

“Folks need to take another look at CBS News’ report from Dallas-Fort Worth in February 2016 regarding police warning of the dangers of sex offenders using bogus identities to rape women on major dating sites. More women need to be educated about the risks of dating online.”
